The Osaka International Judo Friendship Association (KIWI CLUB OSAKA)

It is a private non-goverment organization and also a non-profit organization, which was funded in June 1987 by judo practitioners within the Osaka Judo Seifukushi Association. They have been taking a leading role in the development and increase popularity of judo by being involved in activities at a grass-roots level. The aim of the KIWI CLUB OSAKA is to promote international friendship, to deepen cultural understanding, and to build a more meaningful relationship between people by training body and soul through judo.

The activities that KIWI CLUB OSAKA is involved in include supporting overseas sporting trips and students coming to Japan to study judo. We are responsible for organizing the annual Osaka International Goodwill Tournament.

In 2006 November, the 14th OSAKA International Good Will Judo Tournament was held in Osaka. 220judo players from 22 countries played in this tournament.

We always recruit judo players for these tournaments,
so please contact us if you are intereted in them.
